Rodger A. Owen President

Rodger is head of the design, engineering and construction functions. He has been involved, since his youth, in the construction industry designing, engineering and building fine homes and as general contractor in both, residential and commercial construction. He is a graduate of Lake Forest Academy. earned a Bachelors from Indiana University, an MBA from University of Chicago with further studies at Universidad de Madrid, Spain and Universite d’Aix-Marseille, France. He is currently President of both, the Bright Promises Foundation for children and the Lincoln Central Association. He is a member of the Society of Architectural Historians and Chicago Yacht Club and a former member of the Tavern Club Board and the USO. He is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and donates to the Redmoon Theater and Lake Forest Academy. Rodger and his wife are long time residents of Lincoln Park.

Charles R. Grode Vice President

Charles has been Rodger’s business partner in real estate and construction since 1986, he heads up the management and administration functions. With a combined background in the arts, programming/system design and market analysis he has developed the management, budget and quality control systems as well as aesthetics necessary for high quality level projects. He is a graduate of New Trier HS, earned a B.S. from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from Pennsylvania State University with additional studies at the Institut de Français, Villefranche-sur-Mer, France. He is a first generation American and believes strongly in a hard work ethic. He contributes significantly to various organizations and takes a vigorous approach to life including long distance running, the fine and martial arts including wing chun, piano, watercolour, backpacking and extensive world travel. He is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and has been a lifelong resident of Chicago.
